Students from WACO High School met with an area representative at the state capitol this week. The group from WACO High School traveled to Des Moines on Wednesday to join with other students from across the state.

While there, students met with Representative Dave Heaton and Carmine Boal, a Wayland native who is currently serving as Chief Clerk. Heaton explained his duties as Representative and talked about House File 2341, which deals with properties being sold that previously housed meth manufacturing operations. He urged them to meet with their city councils to stress it’s importance.
