The Washington archery teams went to state this past weekend, and had a good showing from their boys and girls.

In the elementary division, Ethan Scheef shot a 251 with eight bulls-eyes good for 17th place. Kaden Box shot a 238 for 34th place, Olin Wells shot a 223 for 56th, and Hunter Shultz shot a 222 for 58th place.

For the middle school kids, Mitchell Driscoll shot a 275 with 10 bulls-eyes for 14th place. Cody Mellinger shot a 267 for 42nd place, and Dalton Applegate shot a 258 for 71st place.

In the high school division, the team was eighth with 3,199 points, while the winner was Spencer with 3,394 points. Ryan Waite was the top male shooter, with 282 points and 16 bulls-eyes good for 20th place. Alex Sinn finished with 275 points and 12 bulls-eyes, placing her 22nd in high school girls. Alex Kleinmeyer was 53rd for Washington with 275 points, Connor Frame was 62nd with 272 points, and Caleb Bex was 79th with 268 points.

This wraps up the season for the Washington archery team.
