The Winfield- Mt. Union track and field team held their home co-ed invite Friday night for a make-up meet, and here are the winners from each area school.

In the girls meet, for Winfield-Mt. Union, Karlie Wade won the long jump at 15’7.25”, they won the 4×200 meter relay in 1:55.36, and went one and two in the 100 hurdles with Emily Mathews in first at 16.85, and Karlie Wade in second at 17:20.

For Columbus Junction, They won the 4×800 with a team of Jessica Cruz, Ashley Canny, Bailey Stroud and Rebeca Neri in a time of 11:35.74, Taylor Hills finished first in the 800 in 2:34.72, right ahead of her teammate Kylie Marin who finished second in 2:38.70, Kelsey Pretz won the 200 meter dash in 27.35, they won the 800 sprint medley with Bailey Stroud, Monaye Mathews, Jessica Cruz and Rebeca Neri in 2:06.33, and then won the 4×400 with a time of 4:36.41 and a team of Marin, Hills, Neri and Cruz.

WACO won the shuttle hurdle, and the 4×100 with a team of Trilby Frier, Angelique Frier, Rosemary Skriver and Jennie Greene in 53.74.

On the boys side of the meet, Winfield-Mt. Union got wins in the shot put with Kyle Davis at 44’, Max Fricke won the 400 meter dash in 53.14, and they won the 4×100 with Kyler Smith, Levi Giese, Bryce Robison and Max Fricke in 46.05, and the 4×400 with the same team in 3:38.

Columbus went one and two in the long jump with Rickey Rivers and Mauricio Ramirez, with Rivers winning at 21’4”, and Ramirez second at 21’3.5”, Angel Rodriguez won the high jump at 5’8”, they won the shuttle hurdle relay in 1:11, Rivers won the 100 meter dash in 11.35, they won the 4×200 in 1:35.27 and a team of Ramirez, Rodriguez, Ricardo Roman and Rivers, Zach Gaddy won the 110 hurdles in 17.97, Ramirez and Rivers went one and two again in the 200 meter dash, with Ramirez getting first in 22.72, and Rivers second in 23.59, and they won the Distance medley with DJ Beechum, Devon Henry, David Ayala and Josh Keller in 4:14.

WACO had runner-up finishes in the 800 with Braden Blake, and the 4×800 meter relay.
