Day two of the Drake relays is in the books, and all of the area athletes that competed have finished.

For the Washington boys, Carl Sivels finished 27th in the 100 meter dash in 11.86, Tommy Peterson finished 18th in the shot put with a throw of 47’1.75”, and the 4×100 of Sivels, Gage Redlinger, Jack Giardino and Alex Coker finished 59th in a time of 45.07.

The Washington girls 4×100 finished 16th overall with a team of Dema Giardino, Grace Redlinger, Stephanie Fishback and Macy Marek in a time of 50.58.

The WACO boys finished 66th in the 4×100 in a time of 45.25 and a team of Brett Heseltien, Bryce Achen, Cornell Hulme and Dylan Carlson.

The Mid-Prairie girls 4×100 finished 71st in a time of 52.73 and a team of Lexi Duwa, Arissa Marine, Emily Clayton and Alex Rath.

Lou Krieger-Coen of Winfield-Mt. Union finished 16th with a throw of 114’3”.

That wraps up the Drake relays for the area schools, next week will return to normal meets before the championship season starts.
