A four month long joint narcotics investigation in Henry County has led to the arrest of two individuals. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, along with the New London and Mount Pleasant Police, executed two search warrants in New London on Tuesday.

55 -year-old Kent Bedadum was arrested after police searched his home at 202 North Maple Street. He’s charged with three counts of felony delivery of marijuana. 69-year-old William Cole was charged with one count of felony delivery of marijuana after his home at 200 West Washington Street was searched.

Their charges are enhanceable due to the fact the illegal sales were made within 1,000 feet of New London Public Park. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, the individuals may have also been involved in the sale of synthetic marijuana or K2. Further charges are pending.
