The Mid-Prairie girls soccer team braved the weather and made it three wins in a row Monday night shutting out visiting Monticello 3-0. The Golden Hawks struck early on a goal in the first seven minutes by Ashley Miller. Bailey Harris made it 2-0 Hawks when she found the back of the net in the 21st minute off of a Miller assist. Mid-Prairie would add an insurance tally in the second half with Miller’s second goal of the night in the 62nd minute to close out the scoring. With the win Mid-Prairie is now 3-3 on the year with a week to prepare for highly ranked Iowa City Regina on the road.
