Other than a late start, there isn’t much meteorologists can say about this year’s severe weather season. National Weather Service Meteorologist Donna Dubberke says we’re in a neutral pattern, meaning there are no indicators that this will be a more active spring than normal. The tornado that touched down in Lone Tree and the funnel clouds that were spotted last Sunday were due to optimal conditions according to Dubberke, not necessarily a sign of what’s to come.
