April is National Poetry Month. The Washington Public Library is hosting an event this evening to recognize it. Library Assistant LeAnn Kunz explains tonight’s poetry share is open for anyone to bring a poem to read aloud. Poems can be classics, children’s poetry, or even original works. Kunz adds last year’s event had a variety of themes with some funny moments and serious moments. They are asking those interested to register at the circulation desk so they have an idea as to how many people will be reading. The poetry share will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Washington Public Library.
