The Washington JV track team went to Ft. Madison, and got a great meet from Bryce Rickey.

Rickey won the 200 meter dash, while also helping win the 4×200 and 4×100 meter relays.

Head coach Steve Roth talked about his success at the meet last night, and what it means for him and the program.

“I have a couple of positions in the varsity area, and Bryce Rickey really ran well last night. It’s great to get the whole team to run last night, we had 12 or 13 kids, and we had eight or nine of them running in the 100 and 200, and Bryce ran in the 4×100 and 4×200 and had great splits, and they won both of those, and he also won the open 200 too,” Roth said. “He also placed in the 100 somewhere too, we haven’t received the full results yet, but really an outstanding night for a sophomore.”

The Demon boys track team is scheduled to be back in action tomorrow night.
