The Washington eighth grade boys track and field team ran a meet on Friday, and here are some results from their meet.

They won the 4×200 meter relay, with a team of Matt Roder, Tanner Murphy, Ryan Reighard and Dalton Myers in 1:44.69, they won the 4×100 meter relay with Reighard, Murphy, Roder and Myers in 50.36, and Myers won the long jump with a leap of 17’9”.

Runner-ups for the Demons were Reighard in the long jump at 16’11”, Mitchell Hulsenga in the shot put at 35’1”, Mark Engelken in the discus at 105’, and the shuttle hurdle with a team of Cole Dallmeyer, Roder, Mario Tapia and Kyle Fishback in a time of 1:11.08.

Mt. Pleasant won the meet with 142.5 points, while Washington was third with 78.
