The Demon relays were held last night at Case field, and there were five area schools in attendance. Here are the top results from each team.

For the Washington girls, they had champions in the Discus with Dylann Schluetter throwing 94’11”, McKayla Miller in the shot put at 31’4.5”, the shuttle hurdle relay with a time of 1:14.4 and a team of Emma Wood, Jesse Buchholz, Carolan Hoffman and Makenzie Knutson, Macy Merak in the 100 meter dash in a time of 13.27, and Stephanie Fishback was right behind her with a time of 13.58, Morgan Kimball in the 400 meter dash in a time of 1:02.09, 4×200 meter relay in a time of 1:51.98 and a team of Kelly Wheeler, Dema Giardino, Grace Redlinger and Stephanie Fishback, Merak and Fishback went one, two in the 200 meter dash, with Merak winning in a time of 27.47, Jesse Buchholz won the 400 hurdles in 1:15.02, the 800 sprint medley relay in a time of 1:57.32 and a team of Wheeler, Giardino, Marek and Kimball, the 4×100 meter relay with a time of 52.51 and a team of Marek, FIshback, Giardino and Grace Redlinger, and the 4×400 meter relay in a time of 4:26.71 and a team of Isabella Giardino, Redlinger, Fishback and Makenzi Marek.

For the boys, Washington won the long jump with Alex Coker and a jump of 21’, Tommy Peterson won the shot put with a throw of 48’7.5”, Carl Sivels won the 100 meter dash in 11.71, and they won the 4×200 meter relay in a time of 1:34.44 and a team of Tanner Knupp, Sivels, Gage Redlinger and Coker.

For the Mid-Prairie boys, they won the 4×800 meter relay in 8:36.78 and a team of Andrew Schwartz, Colin Weber, Zeb Schwartz and Ty Feigenspan, Zeb Schwartz won the 1600 meter run in 4:55.18, Evan Wild won the 400 meter hurdles I 1:01.04, and Feigenspan won the 800 meter run in 2:08.14.

For the Lone Tree girls, their best finish of the night was from Maddie Flemr in the 100 meter dash, finishing third in a time of 13.94.

Columbus Junction boys won the discus with Joan Mejia throwing 74’, Angel Rodriguez won the high jump at 5’10”, and Ricky Rivers and Mauricio Ramirez were second and third in the long jump.

The Columbus girls were second in the 4×800 with a team of Kylie Marin, Rebeca Neri, Jessica Cruz and Taylor Hills in a time of 11:23, and were second in the shuttle hurdle, second in the 4×200, and Laura Minks was second in the 400 hurdles.

The WACO boys won the 4×100 meter relay in 44.81 and a team of Brett Heseltien, Bryce Achen, Cornell Hulme and Dylan Carlson, and they won the shuttle hurdle in a time of 1:02.23 and a team of Heseltien, Hulme, Achen and Carlson.

The WACO girls had one champion with Jennie Green winning the long jump with a leap of 15’.

The Washington Demons won the girls meet with 184 points, WACO was fourth with 57, Columbus fifth with 55, and Lone Tree was seventh with 15.

In the boys meet, Mid-Prairie was third with 99, Washington was fourth with 95, Columbus fifth with 65, and WACO was sixth with 49.
