The Washington Demon girls and boys soccer teams host Mid-Prairie tonight for the county rivalry.

The Demons girls are 2-1 after beating Mid-Prairie earlier in the year, they came back and 10 goaled MEPO, but got 10 goaled by Clear Creek Amana.

The Golden Hawk girls are 0-3. Mid-Prairie has only put up one goal in their first three games, but have also stayed in the game by only allowing six goals total in their first three games.

The Demon boys are 1-0 after beating Mediapolis 4-0, thanks to a couple of goals from their returning leading scorer Mason Quigley, but Mid-Prairie is 3-1 and despite the loss to West Liberty the Golden Hawks are a tough ranked team that got the day off yesterday from playing No. 1 Regina, so they should be rested to take on the Demons.

Tonight’s games are at the new soccer field beside the softball diamond with the girls game at 4 and the boys at 6.
