Washington High School’s average ACT score is lower than the state average. The average score for a Washington High School student was 21.4 in 2013 while the state’s average was 22.1 for the same year. At this week’s meeting the Washington School Board discussed the average score for a student on the ACT, a four subject area test plus writing that shows college aptitude. The school currently offers test preparation that is optional and pre-tests.
