WMU and WACO boys and girls track and field teams, and the Columbus boys went to West Liberty Friday night, and here are their top results.

For the WACO girls, they had champions in the 4×200 in 1:57.5, 4×100 in 54.32, the long jump with Jennie Greene jumping 15’1.75”, the high jump with Rosemary Skriver jumping 4’8”, and the Sprint Medley with Trilby Frier, Angel Frier, Skriver and Greene in a new P.R. of 2:02. Angel Frier was runner-up in the 100 meter dash,

For WMU, Paige Breon won the 200 in 28.44, Hannah Mathews was second in the 400, Emily Mathews won the 100 hurdles in 17.1, right ahead of teammate Karlie Wade in 17.38, Wade won the 400 hurdles in 1:15.15, Lou Krieger-Coen was second in the discus, Wade was second in the long jump, and they were second in the 4×100.

WMU was second with 95 points, WACO was fourth with 69 points and Lisbon won the meet with 123 points.

For the WACO boys, they won the 4×100 in 44.7, Braden Blake won the 800 in 2:06, and Dylan Carlson won the high hurdles in 16.25.

For WMU, Darren Hunter was second in the 400 meter dash in 57.45, they were second in the 4×100 in 45.75, second in the 4×200, second in the 4×800 and first in the 4×400 in 3:36.6.

For Columbus, Maurcio Ramirez won the 100 meter dash in 11.48, Ramirez and Rivers went one and two in the 200 with Ramirez winning in 23.22, and Rivers in 23.69, Angel Rodriguez was second in the high jump off of misses at 6’, Rivers and Ramirez went one and two in the long jump, with Rivers winning at 20’7.75”. Mark Ramirez was second in the shot put, they won the 4×200 in 1:34.07, and they were second in the 1600 medley relay.

Columbus was the meet runner-up with 122 points, WMU was third with 79, WACO was fifth with 48, and the winner was Lisbon with 172.

Next week is conference for both schools.
