Southeast Iowa no longer has any severe drought conditions. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, Washington County is completely in moderate drought, as well as Keokuk County and 40.7% of the state. Henry, Louisa, Johnson, Iowa and Jefferson counties are partly in moderate drought and abnormally dry.

The only remaining severe drought conditions are in Calhoun, Carroll and Greene counties in western Iowa.
