A Babysitting Basics Training Course is being offered twice this summer. The class aims to help youth learn how to be responsible babysitters and will cover safety, emergency and first aid procedures, employer expectations, caring for infants and young children and age appropriate toys and activities. The program is for any youth who has completed 5th grade or older.

Two 5-day sessions will be offered: June 10-14 or July 29 – August 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Interested students are encouraged to register early because classes are limited to 25 students; the cost of the class is $25. Registration forms can be found at the Washington County Extension Office or online.
