Plans are coming together and details are being nailed down as Washington’s 175th Celebration draws near. At Tuesday’s City Council meeting the necessary street closures for parking, exhibits, events and parades were approved. It was announced by event chairs Millie Youngquist and Diane Gallagher that a 90 foot by 20 foot brat grill will be part of the festivities on June 4th. Also, tractors and other farm equipment will surround the square following a tractor parade on Thursday, June 5th.
