The Washington Demon girls track and field team held their home meet makeup Friday night, and here is how they and Lone Tree finished at the meet.

Washington had multiple runner-up finishes, but did win the 4×400 in a time of 4:23.85 and a team of Addison Gaal, Stephanie Fishback, Grace Redlinger and Morgan Kimball, and Emme Keith won the 3000 in 12:07.26. Washington was runner-ups in the discus with Dylann Schuetter with a throw of 107’3.5″, in the 100 meter dash with Macy Marek in 13.46, in the 400 meter dash with Morgan Kimball in 1:01.92, in the 4×200, in the 200 meter dash with Marek finishing in 27.54, the Demons went two and three in the 400 hurdles with Jesse Buchholz taking second and Mackenzie Knutson finishing third, they were runner-ups in the 800 sprint medley and runner-ups in the 4×100.

Lone Tree’s two best finishes of the night were a third place finish in the 3000 from Julie Wehmeyer, and a fifth place finish from Maddie Flemr in the 100 meter dash.

Davenport Central won the meet with 149 points, Mt. Pleasant was second with 140, Washington third with 139, and Lone Tree was seventh with 18.

Both teams run at their respective conference meets next week.
