Washington County voters can vote at the courthouse early this week before next Tuesday’s primary. Also, the Iowa Secretary of State Matt Shultz is reminding Iowans that county auditors’ offices will be open Saturday so more people can vote early. At that time voters can also register to vote. In Washington County, Republicans will have two contested county races; county attorney with Larry Brock or Shawn Showers and district 3 supervisor with Abe Miller and Scott Davis. On the Democrats’ ticket, the only contested county race is for district 3 supervisor between Ceanne Alvine and Keith Cutkomp.
