The Mid-Prairie girls golf team qualified for the second round of regional golf play last night.

The Golden Hawks shot a team score of 383, to sit right behind Williamsburg at the tournament.

Allyson Wertz had the low score for the team and qualified individually as well with her third place score of 88. Mick VanWinkle came in with a 96, Courtney Cayton had a 99, Laura Yoder had a 100, Sydney Scarff shot a 101, and Olivia Nisly finished up with a 126.

The Golden Hawks advance to the second round where they will play the familiar course of the Kalona Golf Club next Tuesday.
