In a rescheduled game, the #4 Mid-Prairie boys soccer team traveled to #7 Albia Saturday and came home with a 2-0 win. The Golden Hawks got on the board in the first half when Jordan Ulin beat the Blue Demon keeper on a great assist from Dayton Hall. The Golden Hawks would lock things down defensively the rest of the half and take the slim lead into the break.

In the second Mid-Prairie added an insurance goal when Austin Errthum put one around an Albia wall, and the keeper, into the upper corner of the goal. Mid-Prairie again turned up the defensive pressure to stop the Albia offense and relied on goal keeper Spencer Shalla who recorded eight saves in the shut out. Mid-Prairie is now 6-1 on the season and will travel to West Liberty tonight to take on the #10 Comets.
