The IMS boys soccer team is peaking at the right time, knocking off perennial power Holy Trinity for the second time this week on Friday night by a 3-1 score at West Point. This match up was the opening round of the Southeast Iowa Superconference tournament for both teams. Reggie Hostetler, back from his foot injury this week, started again in goal for Iowa Mennonite to anchor the defense while the offense went to work. IMS got goals from Alex Kurtz, Kobi Russom and Kirby Shetler to lead the way. IMS is now 9-7 and will be in action today in the second round of the SEISC tournament at Burlington, Notre Dame against Columbus.
