The IMS soccer team played No. 3 Danville last night, and dropped a heart-breaker of a game.

Danville is undefeated this season, while IMS has been playing well. The first half was a defensive struggle between both teams, but with 6.8 second to go in the half, a foul was called. After a conversation at mid-field though, it was deemed a handball and Danville was awarded a penalty kick which they scored on.

After the score, the game was paused due to lightening and both teams had to go inside. After an hour, the game was cancelled, but remained official since they completed a half, and Danville won the game.

IMS is now 7-7 and plays Holy Trinity tonight at 5:30 for senior night.

Seniors for IMS are Spencer Schrock, Enrique Sanchez, Jameson Lammer, Tyler Messer, and Reggie Hostetler.
