Keota hosted a 1A section golf meet last night, and a couple of area school competed well.

For Keota, Kolton Greiner shot an 81 to move on to districts. Other scores for Keota were a 99 from Grant Hill, a 102 from Zach Mousel, and a 103 from John Mather.

IMS was also at the meet, and had a rough day on the course, with Tanner Leyden shooting the low score of 90. Roman Slabach shot a 105, Ben Miller came in with a 107, RidgeLee Gingerich had a 108, Lane Schrock shot a 117 and Zach Hill had a 132.

Greiner will move on to the district golf meet hosted by North Mahaska on May 22 at 10 in the morning.
