Register for Summer Reading Today

Today is the last day to register for summer reading at the Washington Public Library. This year’s theme is science. Jenisa Hanson with the library states grades Kindergarten through fifth will be taking part in “Fizz, Boom, Read” from June 5th to July 2nd. She ads there will be a number of hands-on activities including volcanoes, robots and experiments. Grades 6th through 12th will take part in “Spark Reaction” reading Maximum Ride the Angel. Also “Read to Me” will be held for children ages 18-months to pre-school.
