The IMS and WMU girls golf teams played at their regional golf meet last night and one team will be moving on, while the other wrapped up the season with the meet.
The Wolves shot a second place team score of 401, good enough to move them on to the next round of play. Not only did WMU make it as a team, but Grace Edwards was the meet medalist with an 84. Other scores for the Wolves were Shelby Therme with a 99, Nicole Escher with a 108, Sophie Kongaide with a 110, Samantha Jamison with a 111 and Haley Rodgers rounded out the field with a 136.
IMS had a rough day on the course, as they shot a team score of 513, and their best player Michaela Prihoda shot a 125. Liza Brennemen stepped up and shot a team low score of 112. Elizabeth Yoder shot a 135 and Abbie DeWild had a 141.
The next step for WMU is the district meet to try and qualify for state.
