It has been one year since a fire in Keota destroyed five buildings in the downtown area. The fire was reported around 4am on December 4th last year.

Seven Fire Departments fought the blaze as it spread from building to building. A later investigation discovered that arson was the cause of the fire. The investigation is still open, and their have been no suspects.
