The Washington Demon baseball team hosts Keokuk tonight for their first conference doubleheader of the season.

Washington will be wearing throwback uniforms from 1972 due to Washington’s 175th anniversary. The Demons are 3-3 entering the game after beating Centerville last night 9-5 and 9-7.

The Demons play Keokuk who is 1-5 on the season. The Chiefs are led at the plate by Brandt Ames and Austin Almon, both with .444 averages. On the mound, Keokuk’s go to pitcher is Dakota Shaw with 11 1/3 innings and a 2.47 ERA and seven strikeouts.
