The Washington baseball team is coming off a big win over Pella and will travel down to Mt. Pleasant tonight for a conference double header.

The Demons pitching staff is throwing well with both young and veteran arms as Elijah Wood is still the lefty ace for Washington, but Zach Londberg is now sitting second on the team in ERA with a 2.57 after his full game win against Pella on Tuesday. At the plate, it is another younger player in Dakota Kron with the best average on the team. Kron has a .414 average with seven RBI’s, Tanner Knupp is behind him with a .400 average. Walker Breard, Elijah Wood and Jacob Green all have averages over .320 as well.

The Panthers are 0-5 on the season. Their team ERA has bloated out to over seven, and at the plate Dustin Amos is the top hitter with a .308 average.

Tonight’s game is at Mt. Pleasant with a 5:30 start time for game one.
