The Washington Demon baseball team had their game against Benton cancelled last night, so they will move on to today’s doubleheader against Durant.

The Demons are 9-8 entering this game, with their top three bats still Walker Breard, Tanner Knupp and Jacob Green. Elijah Wood should see some action today with his .72 ERA and 27 strikeouts on the season, and Zach Londberg will probably see game two and test this 3-0 record.

Durant’s stats date back to the middle of June, but they do show a few dangerous hitters at the plate. Jake Benischek is the top bat with a .444 average, and Gavin Blake is number two with a.348 average. On the mound, Drew Lilienthal is the top arm with a 3.03 ERA and 21 strikeouts.

Today’s game is a Durant with a noon start time.
