The Washington Demon softball team took a couple of losses at home last night to Oskaloosa.

The Demons lost game one 5-1 with Ashley Rausch going seven innings, giving up eight hits, five earned runs, walking three and striking out eight. At the plate, the Demons had just four hits with Rausch going 2-3.

In game two, the Demons fell 4-2 getting seven hits and Stephanie Fishback going 2-4 with a double and a run. In the circle it was Amber Linnenkamp who went the distance, giving up 10 hits with four runs, two earned, one walk and three strikeouts.

The Demons take on Mt. Pleasant in a double header on Thursday.
