Drought conditions continue to improve across the state. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor only 20.6% of Iowa is experiencing drought conditions, nearly half of the percent recorded last week. Most of the drought conditions remain in southeastern Iowa. Washington County is still in a moderate drought, as is most of Keokuk, Iowa, Johnson, Muscatine and Louisa counties – approximately 6% of the Hawkeye State. For the complete report click here.
