After just dropping their game to Mid-Prairie this weekend, the IMS baseball team comes out for a game against Mediapolis tonight.

IMS is playing pretty well right now, and their pitching staff is doing a good job of keeping them in the game. Peyton Miller has thrown no earned runs in 16 innings with 13 strikeouts, while Tanner Leyden has a 2.33 ERA in 21 innings and 19 K’s.

At the plate IMS is led by Dallas Nye with a .369 average, .690 slugging percentage and six RBI’s. Reggie Hostetler and Brent Brenneman are the two other players with averages over .300 on the team.

For MEPO, their main arm on the mound is Elijah Wolfe with a 2-1 record in 17 innings, 1.24 ERA and 22 strikeouts, but the Bulldogs have a lot of quality arms they can choose from with a team ERA of 1.47. At the plate Josh Osborne has the best bat with a homer, triple, double and 10 RBI’s.
