The final day of Washington’s 175th Celebration, Living the Dream Day, is tomorrow. Gary McCurdy who is chair for the day explains it will start with an Ecumenical Church Service presented by the Washington Ministerial Association. Following the service local praise bands will play and in the afternoon there will be a performance by the alumni concert band and alumni jazz band, followed by an alumni reception with cake and ice cream. Mayor Sandra Johnson will give closing remarks for the 8-day celebration. McCurdy adds he is looking forward to the culmination of all of the planning work.
