The board for the new auditorium project in Washington is meeting with the Vision Iowa grant board tomorrow, the fourth time regarding this project. The community based theater will seat 698 with a $7,215,036 price tag.

Jan Gallagher states the multiple inquiries by the Vision Iowa board seems to be a good indication and tomorrow Mayor Sandra Johnson, City Administrator Brent Hinson, Chamber Director Michelle Redlinger, WEDG Director Ed Raber, Superintendent Dr. Jorgenson will be joining Gallagher and Bob Youngquist to show support. In order to help the cause, the City of Washington recently increased its contribution to $50,000. Approximately $138,000 is still needed for the project.
