After multiple rounds of interviews, Keota School District has a new secondary principal. Nathan Carlson will take on the role. He taught at Clear Creek Amana this past school year, and has worked at Louisa Muscatine and Columbus Community. Superintendent Mark Schneider gave his recommendation to the school board at a special session meeting earlier this week. In addition to serving as principal, Carlson will spend 20% of his time as dean of students at Mid-Prairie High School.
