The Washington Demon and Mid-Prairie softball teams will play their county rivalry game tonight at Washington.

The Demons have struggled as of late, sitting with a three game losing streak, and dropping a couple of tough ones to Fairfield. Washington has struggled at the plate this year with Grace Redlinger leading the way with a .446 average, Stephanie Fishback with a .347 average and Ashley Rausch with a .310 average. After those three, everyone is under .300. Rausch is 6-7 in the circle with 107 strikeouts and a 1.58 ERA, while Amber Linnenkamp is 1-7 with a 3.76 ERA for the Demons.

Mid-Prairie comes off a split with Wilton, and a very scary batting order. Amber Kral leads the way with a .591 average, five homers, two triples, nine doubles and a 1.015 slugging percentage. Alex Rath is behind her with a .532 average and three triples. The Golden Hawks have seven players with an average of .300 or better and between Chelsea Kral, Taylor Kurtz, Ali Naylor and Amber Kral, the Golden Hawks have 16 combined home runs.

In the circle, Kurtz is 9-3 with a 2.94 ERA, and 59 strikeouts, Emma Troyer is 5-6 with a 5.65 ERA and 43 strikeouts.
