The Washington Middle School will be 1:1 next year. The Washington School Board approved a bid at their meeting last week. Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen stated five companies were asked for bids but only one was submitted. The cost was estimated to be $132,000 and the bid came in at $117,000. Also, the project received a $60,000 grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation in May. In total, 440 Chromebooks will be purchased.
