Over 80 floats were in Sunday’s Ridiculous Day Parade in downtown Washington. The first place float was Carol Wehr’s honey titled “Bee Happy.” Second place went to Crooked Creek Christian Camp which roasted s’mores and third place went to Camp REECE. Honorary mention was Sonia Levya with traditional latino costuming and dancing horses. The Blast from the Past award went to Betty Porter former Centennial Queen. And the float with most participants was Bruty family, who have run multiple businesses in town totaling 175 years of business.
