In less than four weeks the Washington Kirkwood Regional Center will be open for classes. Tera Pickens, Director of the Kirkwood Regional Center, says there are new programs that will be offered in Washington that they haven’t had the space to offer in the past. She explains there are two quick programs, TIG welding and EMT, or Emergency Medical Technician. In addition, there are still a few openings in their academies, which are open to high school students and traditional students in the area.

She adds now is the time to register for courses. For more information to see which programs still have availability contact the center and listen to today’s Washington Page.
