The Coralville Lake Reservoir is expected to peak today at just over 708 feet according to the Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator Dave Wilson. At 712 feet, the water will go over the lake’s spillway and cause severe flooding, as seen in 2008. Outflow from the reservoir is continuing at 18,000 cubic feet per second while inflow yesterday was reported at 24,000 cubic feet pe second and falling. The Iowa River at Iowa City, Lone Tree, Columbus Junction, Wapello and Oakville is above flood stage.
