The Mid-Prairie softball team goes to the regional semifinals tonight when they host Williamsburg.

The Golden Hawks took care of business in round one against L-M 11-1, and will look to do the same, as Amber Kral leads the way at the plate with a .589 average, 52 RBI’s and 10 homers. Alex Rath is the second batter with a .541 average, and 59 runs scored. There is no heart of the lineup for Mid-Prairie, just a lineup that you have to face and battle every batter.

Taylor Kurtz is the top arm for the Golden Hawks, with a 14-4 record, 2.61 ERA and 81 strikeouts.

Williamsburg comes in off a 9-5 win over West Liberty in the first round of regional play. Jess Miller is the top bat in the lineup for the Raiders with a .352 average and 12 RBI’s, while Jackie Widmer is second with a .341 average and 14 RBI’s. In the circle is Nicole Zuber with a 11-12 record, 1.93 ERA and 95 strikeouts.
