The All-River Valley Conference softball team was released, and here are the Mid-Prairie players that made the list.
For first team Taylor Kurtz was selected as a pitcher with a 2.03 ERA and 52 strikeouts in conference play, Amber Kral was picked for first team with a .660 average 30 RBI’s, five homers, two triples and eight doubles, Lexi Duwa with a .477 average with 24 runs scored and Emma Troyer was picked for first team with a .408 average with 13 RBI’s.
Alex Rath was the lone second team selection, and Ashley Sojka and Whitney Christiansen were both selected as honorable mentions.
Head coach Kara Beatty was chosen as the coach of the year in her first year as a head coach.
Mid-Prairie won their conference and finished fifth in the state.
