Funeral arrangements for 85-year-old Philip Shaver of Sigourney will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday (7/14) at the Sigourney United Methodist Church. Burial with military rites will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday (7/13) at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney. A memorial fund has been established for the Sigourney Care Center or the Sigourney United Methodist Church. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for Phil and his family.
