So far this month, Washington has received nearly an inch more of precipitation than normal. According to the National Weather Service, this July Washington has received 4.85-inches of rain. The record was 11.33 inches in 1993. The year to date total precipitation is 22.52-inches, above the normal 21.36-inches. Also, the average maximum temperature, the average minimum temperature and overall average temperature for July have all been below normal by approximately four degrees.
