With over a year of work put into it, the Riverside City Council is ready to adopt the comprehensive plan. The formation of the plan involved help from RDG Planning and citizens through forums and requests for public input. City Administrator Rusty Rogerson says the plan will influence decisions made in the future, from how land should be used to where streets and new housing developments should go. He adds the planning and zoning committee has recommended approval of the plan. A public hearing will be held at the council’s meeting scheduled for July 21st.
