Fruits, vegetables, baked good and other locally made items can be found at area farmers markets. This week is the 15th Annual National Farmers Market Week as declared by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack. The week recognizes the importance of farmers markets in agriculture and the food economy. Washington’s farmers market will be held Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in Central Park with live local music at 6:30 p.m.
