A Washington man was part of the sixth Iowa Corn Leadership Enhancement and Development class which graduated 21 members. The I-LEAD course included farmers, agribusiness and governmental leaders from across Iowa. Ryan Gallagher was one of those to take part in this course. As part of the class, the 21 members traveled to China for 10 days where they met with government officials, corn customers and industry experts to learn about Chinese culture and developing export markets for Iowa’s agriculture. The class also took part in an agricultural trip to California and another to Washington D.C. The next I-LEAD class will begin in November.
