This week is National Farmers Market Week as declared by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack. This is the 15th Annual National Farmers Market Week, which recognizes the importance of farmers markets in agriculture and the food economy. The Washington farmers market will be held Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in Central Park with live local music at 6:30 p.m. Baked goods, fruits and vegetables will be available for purchase.
