Rain Just Above Normal for August

In the first week of August, just over one inch of rain has fallen in Washington. According to the National Weather Service, 1.11 inches of precipitation is normal for the first week of August and 1.17 inches has been observed. So far this year 23.69 inches of precipitation have been observed in Washington, above the 22.88 norm. Listen to KCII Radio for weather updates throughout the weekend.
